The Answer to the Question

Ok friends, it's now time to grade the test

If you chose:

A - You get a C.  Problem is, you have no idea how non-confrontational I am.  I don't talk to people about things I don't like on a normal basis.  Nate was SUPER impressed that, a few days ago, at my 90 day review at work, I brought up an issue I had with our scheduling system.  The doctors totally listened and appreciated me bringing it up.  They appreciated it so much that today, two days later, they had the system programmer on the phone to see what kinks could be worked out of it.  Maybe I should start doing things like this more often.

B - You FAIL!!!  Seriously, slash his tires?  Really?  I feel as though you have some anger issues that need to be worked through.  Could I recommend the name of a good psychiatrist that could help you through those issues?  (Although, I'm not going to lie and tell you that there weren't times I thought about it.)

C - You Ace the test!  Congratulations!  Read a little further to see how great the new rooms look...  Or, how great they are going to look when we get some new stuff for them.

D - You get a B+.  If we lived in a one bedroom apartment or, for whatever reason, couldn't switch rooms, this is totally what I would have done.  Yeah, remember that whole non-confrontational thing about me?  It's bad.  And I'm working on it.

E - You get an E for effort.  See, it's not possible to do all of the above at the same time.  Good try!  And maybe take a logics class or something.

F - See above.

So, are you ready for the big room reveal???  Here you go!

I realized about halfway through the process that I didn't have a single before picture of our original bedroom.  Here's the after, though.

I love the craft room/library/guest room being in the original bedroom.  It doesn't make the room feel as boxy as the other room felt, if you get what I mean.
Some plans for the rooms:
  • Lounge chair and ottoman for the corner between the book cases.
  • Bedside table for Nate's side of the bed and then paint the two of them.
  • Hang a gallery wall in the bedroom.
  • Decorate the "other" room.
  • Get new bedding for the bedroom.  The comforter we have now is ripped and yucky.
  • Paint the dresser in the bedroom.  (Not shown.  I'll have to get a picture from the other angle at some point)
There may be other things to do but this is a good list for now.

  1. This is great! Haha, I had a feeling which one you would choose... anyway, can't wait to see the final rooms! :)

  2. Well it looks lovely! It's a bummer you had to switch rooms, but changing things up a bit is always fun :) And seriously, I totally feel you on the nonconfrontational thing like I said on the other post. One time I had to talk to my boss about some issues at work - it took me like a month to prep for it, haha.
