Hungry in Hungary

As I said in my New Years resolutions, I'm going to highlight a ministry or organization each month with the hopes that you'll join me in reaching outside ourselves and helping others.

This month I want to talk about a friend of ours.  Nate and I both became friends with Brian at Multnomah University.  He's such a fun guy with a deep love for the Lord.  Within the month, Brian is leaving for Hungary for over a year.  He'll be working with Operation Mobilization, leading sports camps for some of the marginalized people in Hungary. 

Let's let him explain what he's doing for himself...



It's been so amazing to see the way the Lord has worked on Brian's heart since I've known him.  Our first year at Multnomah, Brian had absolutely no desire to go overseas, he wanted to serve the Lord in America (which is TOTALLY a good thing too!).  Through the years, though, God has shaped and molded Brian into someone who has a deep love for the lost and desires to reach them with the gifts God has given him - even joyfully going overseas if that's where his giftings take him.  Trust me when I say, that was a big change for him.

Brian is still a few hundred dollars a month short in his support and I'd love to give you all the opportunity to help someone who is following the Lord's leading in his life.
